Friends Giving Back

Our mission is to nourish, equip, and inspire children in our community by meeting their basic needs, supporting their education, and creating memorable holiday experiences. Through direct aid and community partnership, we are dedicated to building a brighter future for every child.

Big goals. Bigger impact. 📚

At Friends Giving Back, we believe every student deserves to walk into their classroom on day one feeling confident, prepared, and excited to learn. That’s why we are officially launching our Annual Back-to-School Drive!

Our goal this summer? 100 brand-new backpacks packed to the brim with essential supplies—notebooks, pencils, folders, crayons, and more—delivered straight to local children who need them most.

But we can't do it alone. We need your help to lighten the financial load for local families and set these kids up for success.

How You Can Partner With Us:

  • 📦 Bulk Supply Donations: Got supplies? We’ll take 'em!

  • đź’° Monetary Contributions: Every dollar goes directly toward purchasing high-quality gear.

  • 🏢 Host a Collection Bin: Set up a drop-off spot at your business or organization to rally your own community.

Let’s team up and give our local students the tools they need to thrive this year.

Our
Story

Friends Giving Back was founded in 2006 by Tommie, Lucy, and Greg as a family-driven effort to support children in need. Alongside their children—Tommie, Khalil, and Jaydon—the founders have grown the organization from a holiday toy drive into a year-round mission providing meals, school supplies, and community support. Today, we continue to connect those who want to help with the families who need it most, building a stronger future for every child.

His Word is a Verb!

Core Focus

We support children and families through direct aid, including food, clothing, and school supplies, by partnering with schools and community centers to identify those in need. We also empower teachers by providing classroom essentials and run special holiday programs such as a Thanksgiving Food Drive - taking families grocery shopping - and a Christmas Toy Drive, matching kids’ wish lists with donors to make the holidays memorable.

Together, we can make a difference!
